オトウサンの木
名古屋文化振興事業団主催の短篇小説コンテストに応募して、拙作「オトウサンの木」が採択された。名古屋の劇団の俳優が拙作を朗読して、三週間後ぐらいにウェブサイトで公開するという。いったいどのような朗読になるか楽しみだ。
内容は、国民学校の４年生の男子が主人公で、お父さんへの思いをテーマにした。
My Father's Tree
I applied for the short story contest held by the Nagoya Bunka Shinko Jigyodan
(Nagoya Culture Promotion Association). Luckily, my work has been selected. An actor with a Nagoya-based drama group will read my story aloud and will be on
the website in three weeks. I am looking forward to listening to it.
The protagonist in the story is a 4th-year elementary schoolboy during WWII.
The theme of the story is his father's memory.
