A Condescending Attitude
Amid
the Covid-19 pandemic, a 65-year-old man [A] saw a maskless 25-year-old man
[B] and cautioned him by saying, “Wear a mask” in a parking lot in Kobe City on
the afternoon of May 31, 2020. B got angry saying, "Don't order me, old man," and choked and slammed him on the
ground until he became paralyzed in his lower body. Now A has to use a wheelchair
in his daily life.
I
feel sorry for A, but the aged should refrain from condescending to young men. If
A had said, “Mister, please be careful with the pandemic,” he wouldn't have
been assaulted.
