頭に来た
こんちくしょうめ!
怒れてくるやら情けないやら。気が狂いそうだった。手当たり次第、パソコンも、プリンターも、何もかもぶち壊したくなった。
まる二日苦労して、やっとパソコンで確定申告書を作成し終えた。ここまでに至るのには並大抵の苦労ではなかった。パソコンの操作を間違えたりして打ち込んである数値を全部初めから打ち直しということが何度もあった。その度に頭にきて、神を呪い、髪の毛をかきむしった。
しかし、やっとのことで、あとは単に申告書をプリントアウトすればいいというところまで漕ぎ着けた。用紙をプリンターにいれた。スイッチを押した。しかし、な、な、な、なんということか。プリンターがウンともスンとも動かないではないか。スクリーンを見ると次のようなことが書いてあった。
「プリンターが壊れました。コードを抜いて、パソコン取扱店に持って行って下さい」

DAMN IT!
I was at the same time angry and disappointed. I was mad. I wanted to break everything: the computer and the printer and what not.
After a two days of painstaking work, I at last finished making the final return on the computer. Until that time, I had had a lot of computer troubles caused by operating it wrong. I had to type all the figures from the very beginning whenever the computer failed. I was irritated. I was desperate. I was mad.
And at last I came to the point where all I had to do next was just to print the tax return. I fed the sheets of paper in the printer. I switched it on. Alas, however, the machine did not work. Instead, the printer screen showed a message: “The machine is broken. Unplug the electric cord and bring the machine to an electric appliance shop.”
