古武道杖道

　私は20年近く古武道の杖道をやっています。師範は「相手を倒すという信念をもって杖を振りおろしなさい。その時、杖の先から殺気を出さなければいけない」と常に言っています。

剣術でも同じです。師範は、敵と対峙する時は敵を威圧する「気」を太刀から出さなければならない。敵に接近するにつれ、「気」を強め、自分の太刀が相手とぶつかる時は「気」が最大に満ちていなくてはならないと言っています。

催眠術にかかったサイ

　数年前、催眠術のテレビ番組がありました。催眠術師が観客から無差別に選んだ６人の人に催眠術をかける番組です。催眠術師は、約５メートル離れて立っている６人に対して波を送るかのように片手を細かく上下に振りました。やがて６人はふらふらとなり、ついには全員が床に倒れました。私は６人がわざと倒れたのじゃないかと勘繰りました。

　しかし、アフリカのジャングルで行われた催眠術の番組を見て驚きました。催眠術師はサイの群れから１５メートルぐらい離れたところに立ち、サイの方向に向かって手をゆっくり動かし始めました。目に見えない波を５分ぐらいサイに向かって送り続けると、驚くことに、サイが一頭、また一頭と湿地に倒れていくではありませんか。約１０分後、サイは全部倒れました。勿論、サイはサクラではありません。

　幼児が転んだり、何かにぶつかって軽い擦り傷などすると、母親が怪我をしたところに手を当て、それから手を空中に飛ばすようにして、「痛いの、痛いの、飛んでけ！」と言います。母親は、「坊や、痛い、痛いは飛んでったから、もう痛くないよ」と言います。すると子供は泣き止みます。

良く効く偽の薬

　医薬会社が最も恐れているものは何でしょう。偽の薬です。科学的調査によると、偽薬と医薬の効果の差は２ポイントでした。（偽薬は５８ポイントで医薬は６０ポイント。）　結局、偽薬も医薬も実質効果は同じだと言うことです。

　偽薬の魔法のような効果は医薬だけではありません。手術にも効果があるのです。医科学の本を読んでいましたら、驚くべきことが書いてありました。手術チームが偽の手術をしたのです。胃潰瘍の患者を睡眠薬で眠らせ、腹を切開し、手術をしているかのような会話をし、ナイフやメスの音をたて、いかにも手術をしているようなふりをしたのです。手術に要する時間が経過した後、患者を起こして、手術が成功だったと伝えました。暫らくして胃潰瘍は治ったのです。

　これまで述べてきた不思議な現象は、ブルース・リプトン博士著の『信念のすごい力―心はいかにして細胞をコントロールするか』（ＰＨＰ研究所）と言う本を読んで納得することができました。

その本によると、人間の身体は何十兆もの細胞でできており、その細胞は主にたんぱく質でできており、そのタンパク質は分子でできており、分子は原子でできており、原子は原子核と電子でできています。

驚くことに、原子核も電子も物質でありながら同時にエネルギーなのです。理論上、原子核や電子は超スーパー電子顕微鏡で見ることができます。電子が原子核の周りをまわっている模型図を見たことがあるでしょう。しかし、原子核や電子をズームアップするとその形は消滅し、何も見えなくなるのです。なぜなら、原子核も電子もエネルギーだからです。

だから、「痛いの、痛いの飛んでけ！」と言うエネルギーを子供に送れば、子供のエネルギーは反応するのです。アインシュタインの「エネルギー＝質量Ｘ光速度の二乗」と言う公式によれば、エネルギーは質量で、質量はエネルギーだと言うことです。人間を形のある物質ととらえていると不思議な現象は理解できないでしょうが、人間をエネルギーだと考えれば理解できるのではないでしょうか。

The Martial Art of Jo

I have been practicing the martial art of Jo (stick) for many years. My teacher always says, “You must wield your Jo with a strong intention to kill your opponent. You must emit a murderous power from its tip.

    This is the same in the case of sword fighting. According to him, the moment you stand opposed to your enemy, you must send a threatening wave at him. As you come closer to him, you must intensify the wave. When your sword clashes against his, it must be filled with the utmost spiritual power.

Can the threatening wave enter the enemy’s body?

Rhinoceroses under Hypnosis

Several years ago, I was watching a TV program featuring hypnosis spell. The hypnotist tried to hypnotize six people chosen at random from the audience. They stood about five meters away from him. He began to wave his hand at the six subjects. Soon they staggered and finally collapsed on the floor. I thought they were cooperating with the hypnotist.

However, I was amazed at another similar program which featured a hypnosis test in an African jungle. The hypnotist stood about 15 meters away from a group of rhinoceroses. He waved his hand slowly towards the animals. He kept sending the wave for five minutes. Then, believe it or not, the rhinoceroses began to collapse one after another on the marsh. And in ten minutes all the animals fell. Apparently they were not claques.

What did he send to the animals?

Go Away, Pain

Sometimes young mothers say to their little children who have been slightly injured from falling down or bumping a hard object, “Pain, pain, go away!” and she puts her hand on the injured part and “throws away the pain” in the air. She says, “Well, the pain has flown away. Now you don’t feel the pain. And the child stops crying.

Did the pain actually fly away?

Placebo Effect

What do pharmaceutical companies dread most? The answer is placebos. According to scientific statics, the gap between a placebo effect and a medicinal effect is only two percentage points. That is 58 percent (placebo) to 60 percent (medicine). It means that placebos and medicine virtually have the same effect.

The magic power of the placebo is not limited only to medicine. It is effective in surgery, too. According to a science book, a surgery team conducted a mock surgery. The team put an ulcer patient to sleep with an anesthetic, made an incision, engaged in a mock surgical conversation, and made sound of surgical tools. After the necessary time for the surgery had elapsed, they woke up the patient and told him the surgery had been a success. Surprisingly enough, the disease was soon cured.

Did the patient’s belief that the surgery had been a success have curing power?

All the mysteries I have mentioned above were resolved when I read the Japanese version of The Biology of Belief: Unleashing the Power of Consciousness, Matter, & Miracles written by Dr. Bruce H. Lipton. He says:

A human body is made up of trillions of cells, which are made up mainly of proteins, which are made up of molecules, which are made up of atoms, which are made up of the nucleus and electrons.

Amazingly the nucleus and electrons are substances and at the same time energy. Theoretically speaking, you can see them with an ultra powerful microscope. You have probably seen a model of several electrons rotating around a nucleus. But if you zoom up to them, their shapes will disappear and you will see nothing, because they are energy. In other words your body is made up of energy.

Therefore, if you send a particular energy like “Pain, go away,” the child’s energy responds to it. As Einstein’s formula indicates, “Energy equals mass times the velocity of light squared,” energy is mass, and mass is energy. When you grasp that the human body is a substance, you can’t understand the magical power, but if you consider the human body as energy, you can understand it.
